SEN Teaching Assistant - South Liverpool
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Do you have experience working with SEN students and want to play a key role in their development?
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in South Liverpool.
About the Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with special educational needs.
* Assist in developing and delivering individual education plans (IEPs).
* Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support each child’s learning.
* Support students with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory impairments, and learning difficulties.
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where all children can thrive.
About You: To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting (essential).
* A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting individual needs.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Knowledge of safeguarding practices and procedures.
* A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or SEN (desirable but not essential).
