Job Description:
Financial Controller - 12 month FTC Fast Growth International PR Agency - Central London
Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with a fast growth, multi-award-winning PR agency based in London.
Culturally the team is built on trust, and a genuine love of what they do. This position is a great opportunity to influence and contribute to the direction of the company. With this in mind, we are looking for someone who shows enthusiasm, maturity, and someone who will enjoy acting as a central figure in a growing agency. Their turnover is currently around £15mill and they are looking to grow 30% in 2024.
The role has a balance of 80% commercial focus, and 20% reporting focus.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
*Oversee the preparation, consolidation, and review of management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts for senior leadership.
*Provide variance analysis and strategic financial insights to support decision-making.
*Maintain strong financial controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
*Manage month-end and year-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and ledger oversight.
*Lead commercial finance activities, including revenue forecasting, client profitability analysis, and resource planning.
*Partner with key stakeholders to drive financial performance, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
*Ensure accurate payroll management, tax compliance (PAYE, VAT, pensions), and expense approvals.
*Oversee internal and external audits, implementing best practices and recommendations.
*Develop and improve internal reporting structures to enhance financial visibility.
*Drive automation and efficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
Bonus Skills:
· SME agency Experience
· Proactive, positive and excellent interpersonal skills
Offered Package:
· £70,000 - £80,000
· 1 Day in the office
