Data Engineer | Hybrid | SQL | Somerset | £50,000
Method Resourcing have partnered with a well-known retail business who are looking for a Data Engineer to join a small but growing team.
If you are an enthusiastic and skilled Data Engineer this is a great opportunity for you to help them strengthen their capabilities. You’ll play a crucial role in our team’s success by helping to drive efficiency and innovation through data.
Key Responsibilities:
* Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data sources, ensuring consistency and reliability across platforms.
* Assist with the management and manipulation of data through technologies such as Telium, Braze, Redshift, Databricks, and Talend.
* Contribute to building and optimizing APIs (XML, JSON, Python, etc.) to streamline data workflows and enhance integration efforts.
Technical Skills and Experience:
* SQL: Essential for data querying and database management.
* Experience with any of the following is desirable:
* Telium
* Braze
* Redshift
* Databricks
* Talend
* Experience with APIs (XML, JSON, Python, etc.) is beneficial.

Location & Flexibility:
