Job Description:
Estimator to a small, busy and personable team, this position is paying an annual salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum. Working hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Duties:
*Prepare and analyse project cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
*Conduct feasibility studies and cost benefit analyses for potential projects
*Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather project information
*Evaluate contractor bids and negotiate contracts
*Monitor project progress and provide regular cost reports to stakeholders
*Identify potential cost-saving measures and recommend value engineering options
*Review and approve contractor payment applications
*Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify work completed
Benefits:

Experience required:
*Groundwork and Civils
*Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
*Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
*Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
*Proficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
*Excellent numerical and analytical skills
*Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
*Strong communication and negotiation skills
