Job Description:
Based near Dudley, our client an Industrial Machinery Manufacturing company are currently seeking a CAD Design Engineer to join their team and be part of the company’s journey.
This is an exciting opportunity to make the role their own and grow within the business.
Design Engineer Job Overview *Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective design solutions, manage model revisions, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
*Produce 2D, 3D designs as required and update technical drawings
*Liaise with customers on technical and design issues
*Create BOM’s and parts lists for ordering parts and material
*Comply and carry out the 9001 Quality Management System
Design Engineer Job Requirements *Proficient in 3D CAD (Solidworks).
*Graduate/HND in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
*Ideally 2+ years Mechanical design experience with an understanding variety of manufacturing processes and materials
*Graduates with industrial experience encouraged to apply.
Design Engineer Salary & Benefits *Salary - £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
*Overtime available
*Monday to Friday 8.00am-4.30pm
*Company pension
*On-site parking
*28 days holiday including bank holidays
