Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools (Derby)
Location: Derby, UK
Salary: £85 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible Supply

Are you passionate about education and looking to gain classroom experience in secondary schools? We are seeking reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to work across a variety of secondary schools in Derby.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising classes during teacher absences. Your main responsibilities will include:
? Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans across different subjects
? Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
? Supporting students with their work and answering general questions
? Ensuring school policies and procedures are followed
What We’re Looking For:
? A strong presence and the ability to manage a classroom confidently
? Excellent communication and organisational skills
? Previous experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, sports coaching) is beneficial but not essential
? A passion for education and helping students succeed
? A degree or relevant qualification is advantageous but not required
