?? Quality Assurance Engineer - Electronic Engineering ?? Location: Stevenage (Relocation support available)
?? Salary: Circa £45,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)
?? Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite
The Role: We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join a high-performing team ensuring the reliability and compliance of electronic equipment in development. This role is pivotal in maintaining product integrity, reducing non-conformances, and driving continuous improvement across engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities: ? Quality Planning & Compliance: Review and maintain Equipment Quality documentation, ensuring adherence to BMS procedures.
? Non-Conformance Management: Lead defect investigations, root cause analysis (RCA, 8D, DMAIC), and deliver data-driven reports.
? Product Lifecycle Oversight: Facilitate design/production reviews and mitigate risks to enhance customer satisfaction.
? Process Improvement: Identify QA efficiencies, conduct audits, and deliver targeted training to engineering teams.
Essential Skills & Experience: * HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering/QA (or substantial experience in a related role).
* Proven QA background, ideally within electronic engineering or defence development.
* Strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies (8D, RCA, DMAIC).
* Analytical proficiency: Excel, SAP QM, document management tools.
* Eligibility for UK security clearance (must be a British Citizen or dual UK national with British citizenship).
