Job Description:
Meraki Talent is proud to be partnering with a well-known and highly regarded Corporate, Private, and Fund Services provider to support them in recruiting a Corporate Accountant for their London office.
This role offers exposure to multiple areas of the finance function, along with the opportunity to mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
*Prepare statutory accounts in compliance with relevant regulations.
*Produce management accounts for clients on a regular basis.
*Prepare corporate tax returns and ensure timely submission.
*Handle quarterly VAT returns and submit them to HMRC.
*Prepare personal tax returns (preferred but not essential).
*Maintain statutory registers and oversee company secretarial duties, including statutory filings.
*Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
*Undertake ad hoc tasks as required by management.
Person Specification:
*Ideally, 2–3 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice or corporate services firm.
*ACCA or ACA qualified, or at finalist level.
*Familiarity with IRIS and Xero (preferred) or similar accounting software.
*Ability to work to deadlines.
*Excellent communication skills.
