Job Description:
Our SEI Wealth Platform Business (SWP), who supply market leading technology to Wealth Managers, Wealth Planning businesses and Private Banks to help their clients achieve their goals, is looking to recruit an ambitious individual with a demonstrable interest in financial services and financial technology to join us as a Release Analyst. You will be an integral part of the Release Management Team and the broader Platform Technology team. Your responsibilities will include ensuring full client and internal test case coverage, internal and stakeholder management and communications. You will follow a full Scaled Agile methodology and work with Solutions and Operational managers/ owners in understanding to assist building the testing requirements and scenarios to support the Release phase.

What you’ll do:
• You will establish relationships within the internal business community both in the UK & US Release Team/Feature/Product Owners.
• You will interact effectively with our Wealth Platform Development Teams & Offshore Teams
• You’ll collate Management Information and Statistics of UAT Test Case Execution and Uploading Test Case Scenarios within The Rally Application
• Pull Defect totals from Rally which have been raised and following up with resolution timelines
• You’ll provide support in User Acceptance Testing across the business, from Operations to Client functionality
• Access to Test Environments and environment set up & User ID creations
• You will understand Configuration Requirements linked to functionality of features
• You’ll proactively recommend innovations and modifications which are in compliance with industry requirements and are consistent with corporate objectives and goals to improve operational processes, systems, policies and procedures.
• All SIEL employees are responsible for the identification, assessment and control of risks and risk events. Employees will maintain a good understanding of applicable policies, procedures, risk appetites and tolerance relevant to their function and or business unit, and are expected to consider current and potential risks when making or informing business decisions. Employees are responsible for the accurate and timely escalation and recording of incidents associated to relevant risks. In addition, employees are responsible for completing all required Risk Management training.

What we need from you:
• High proficiency in Excel and Access (creating macros, v-look ups minimum)
• Good eye for collating statistics and Data analysis
• Documenting MI effectively within Excel/Word
• Oracle PL/SQL skills a bonus but not a must
• Wealth management, financial planning, front office advisor systems knowledge is a plus but a keen interest that can be demonstrated is essential

• Problem solving skills. Diagnostic skills with the ability to analyses technical, business, and financial issues and options
