We are seeking a Housing Management Assistant to join a Local Authority in Southampton. This role involves providing administrative support in housing procedures and updating the Housing data platform.

THE ROLE
As a Housing Management Assistant, you will support tenancy and estate management services, ensuring compliance with council policies and procedures. *Maintain accurate data on the Council’s housing management system
*Process tenancy records using File Director for scanning and storage
*Handle phone enquiries and provide initial support to residents
*Assist customers with Homebid applications and bidding processes
*Book sign-ups and assist in tenancy paperwork preparation
*Support mutual exchanges, including processing and sign-ups
*Prepare case files for ASB cases and provide basic advice to residents

THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar housing-related role and be confident in administrative and data entry tasks. *Experience with tenancy and estate management administration
*Strong data entry and record-keeping skills
*Ability to handle customer enquiries professionally
*Knowledge of housing management systems and procedures
*Experience liaising with internal teams and external agencies

THE CONTRACT *37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
*3 Month Contract
*£17.19 per hour LTD company rate / £14.65 per hour PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)
