Stores Operative *Annual Salary: £25k - £32k, depending on experience

We are seeking a Stores Operative to join our successful and expanding Manufacturing and Engineering company. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on and enjoys a dynamic work environment. The position involves a variety of tasks including pick and packing, stock control, and quality checking, making it perfect for individuals who thrive in versatile roles.
Day-to-day of the role: *Handling goods in and out, ensuring efficient processing and storage.
*Operating forklifts, specifically Counterbalance, to manage materials and products.
*Managing delivery notes and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
*Examining drawings and dimensions to ensure specifications are met.
*Conducting stock control to maintain inventory levels and ensure availability of materials.
*Performing quality checks on products to ensure high standards are met.
*Conducting damage checks to prevent and address any issues.
*Operating and working with various machinery in a production setting.
*Assisting in other departments as needed to support overall operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
*Forklift experience, specifically Counterbalance, is required.
*Strong attention to detail and ability to work with technical drawings and dimensions.
*Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
*Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
*Flexible and adaptable, willing to assist in various tasks as needed.
