Service Delivery Director (High Performance Computing / HPC) - Fully remote
£80,000 - £100,000 + bonus + health/life/income insurance
This is a great opportunity for an IT infrastructure focused Service Delivery Director / Technical Services Director with a strong Linux background to join a leading technical consultancy, helping to lead the delivery of HPC related managed services and projects.
Due to significant expansion into the USA, this role will be working closely with a US based team and therefore will need to be willing to work mainly to US east coast time zones (typically starting at 13:00 and finishing at 22:00).
It would suit someone with a background in managed service delivery, with significant experience helping external customers in the delivery of complex technical services.
The Service Delivery Director will have a range of responsibilities, including:
*Identifying opportunities for service enhancements
*Ensuring high quality service delivery
*Stakeholder management
*Team management including driving recruitment
*Planning resources and projects
The role would be ideal for someone with the following skills/experience:
*A background in managed service delivery
*Experience of Linux infrastructure systems management
*Excellent leadership skills
*Service metrics and ITIL
*A technical degree would be beneficial
*High performance computing experience would be beneficial but is not essential
