Job Description:
An exciting opportunity for a permanent Senior HR Advisor / Junior HR Business Partner to join our client’s team on a permanent basis. The role is both hands-on and operational and strategic, about 70% HR operational and 30% strategic HR. The Junior HR BP will play a crucial role in advising executives and managers on all people matters, including recruitment, induction, appraisal, HR policies, performance management, engagement, development, and employee relations.
This role is hybrid, 2 days per week in the office and 3 days from home. There will be travel required 2-3 days per month.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise executives and managers on all people matters, including recruitment, induction, appraisal, HR policies, performance management, engagement, development, and employee relations.
Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
Lead the approach to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and Wellbeing in line with the People Strategy
Conduct training needs analyses, design and deliver training programmes, and source external providers where necessary.
Capture and analyse people-related data, ensuring it is cascaded to local leadership teams to drive compliance and positive change.
Support a culture where giving and receiving feedback is safe and encouraged; learning and performance are core elements of the organisation’s culture.
Provide support as a coach and mentor for leaders to enable them to act more confidently in managing teams.
Undertake projects and tasks as directed by the Head of People to support the Executive and across all strategic initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
*You must have experience as a Senior HR Advisor or Junior HR BP.
*You will ideally be qualified to level 5 of the CIPD or above or equivalent.
*You must have a full clean driving licence and be happy to travel 2-3 times a month.
