Role responsibilities
*Managing a varied portfolio of personal tax clients including self-assessment, HNWIs, landlords and directors
*Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns and advising clients on liabilities
*Advising on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, residence and domicile issues
*Supporting clients through HMRC enquiries and ensuring full compliance
*Building strong, long-lasting client relationships based on trust and technical insight
*Overseeing junior team members, offering support and mentoring
*Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and sharing knowledge across the team

Candidate requirements
*Extensive experience in personal tax, ideally within an accountancy practice
*ATT, CTA or CA qualification is desirable but not essential
*Proven ability to manage a portfolio of private clients independently
*Strong technical knowledge of personal tax issues and legislation
*Excellent communication skills and a relationship-focused approach
*Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members
