A leading tier 1 contractor who specialises in Health-care, MOD, Education and Accommodation, projects ranging in value of £5M - £90M, across the UK is seeking a experienced construction biased Business Development Manager to join their South West region.
About the role of Business Development Manager
This Business Development Manager will play a fundamental role within the business, working alongside the Senior Leadership Team, Board of Directors and Managing Director. With the aim of strategically developing the business in the right direction, with ambitious growth plans, expanding into new markets, and maintaining existing stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities for Business Development Manager *Act as sole point of contact representing the business to clients, stakeholders and future business
*Secured a strong pipeline of future works and seek out opportunities for expanding into new market
*Regularly engage with research market trends, competitor’s movement and future opportunities
Requirements for Business Development Manager *Previous experience within a Business Development role working amongst a leading Tier 1 Contractor is essential
*A reputable number of former contacts and network contacts to bring to the business
*Improvement driven mindset with strong communications skills and successful relationship management skills
