Job Title: Senior Healthcare Assistant
Location: BRIDGNORTH
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join a reputable residential home in Bridgnorth. The residential home specializes in Dementia, Eating Disorders, and Physical Disabilities, providing quality care in a compassionate environment.
Position Details:
*Shift: Days
*Hourly Rate: £12.00-£13.00
*Full-time Contracts: 36 hours per week
*Experience Required: NVQ Level 3 and previous senior experience in healthcare
Roles and Responsibilities:
*Oversee the day shift, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents throughout the night
*Administer medications and treatments as per care plans
*Provide leadership and supervision to junior healthcare assistants, ensuring high-quality care delivery
*Conduct regular checks on residents to monitor health conditions and report any changes
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records
*Ensure residents’ personal care needs are met with dignity and respect
*Communicate with family members, staff, and healthcare professionals regarding residents’ needs and care
*Promote a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents
*Take part in training and professional development to maintain and improve care standards
Requirements:
*NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
*Senior Healthcare Assistant experience
*Passionate about delivering care to those with Dementia, Eating Disorders, and Physical Disabilities
*Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
