We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Temporary Accounts Assistant to join a reputable organisation in a YO postcode. This role is ideal for an individual with previous experience in accounting or finance who is looking for a flexible, temporary position.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will provide essential support to the finance team, helping with day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring the smooth running of financial operations. Key Responsibilities:
*Processing invoices and payments
*Assisting with bank reconciliations
*Maintaining accurate financial records
*Supporting with the preparation of monthly reports
*Handling petty cash and expense processing
*Assisting with other ad hoc finance tasks as required
Profile
Requirements:
*Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar finance role
*Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
*Strong Excel skills
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
*Good communication and organisational skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Available immediately or within a short notice period
