Job Description:
An opportunity has arisen for a proactive Health & Safety Advisor to join a leading FMCG company in the Engineering & Manufacturing department, based in Lanark.

Description
*Implementing and enforcing health and safety policies in the workplace.
*Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.
*Providing training and guidance to staff on health and safety procedures.
*Ensuring the company is in compliance with all health and safety regulations.
*Investigating accidents or incidents and preparing reports.
*Working closely with the Engineering & Manufacturing department to identify possible hazards.
*Advising on various safety-related topics, including hazardous materials, fire safety, etc.
*Coordinating emergency procedures, mine rescues, firefighting and first aid crews.
Profile
A successful Health & Safety Advisor should have:
*Relevant qualifications in Health & Safety, such as NEBOSH.
*Experience working in a similar role within the FMCG/Manufacturing industry.
*Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
*Strong communication skills to effectively train and advise staff.
Job Offer
*An estimated salary range of £35000 - £40000.
