Job Advertisement: Deputy Nursery Manager
Location: Peckham , London
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (office and room-based)
Are you an experienced and enthusiastic childcare professional ready to step into a dynamic leadership role? We are looking for a passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to join our nurturing and well-established nursery, which has been proudly serving families for over 12 years.

Key Responsibilities: * Supporting the daily running of the nursery and stepping in as Acting Manager when required
* Leading and motivating a team of practitioners to deliver outstanding care and education
* Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and safeguarding procedures
* Building strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider community
* Overseeing planning and assessment in line with the EYFS framework
* Working closely with the Senior Manager who handles invoicing and administrative tasks
Requirements: * Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education
* Proven experience in a senior or leadership role within a nursery setting
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding practices
* Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
* A passion for providing high-quality childcare and fostering child development
Operational Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM
