Description
The Personal Injury Claims Handler will be:?
*Managing a portfolio of defendant public liability claims from inception to resolution?
*Assessing liability and quantum, and formulating appropriate strategies for claim resolution?
*Liaising with claimants, solicitors, and other stakeholders to negotiate settlements?
*Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies?
*Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the claims process?
*Providing advice and guidance to internal departments on claims-related matters?
*Identifying trends and potential risk exposures to inform risk management strategies?
*Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the claims handling process
Profile
The Personal Injury Claims Handler should be:?
*An experienced claims handler with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing personal injury claims (not motor claims)??
*Experience in property damage claims however full training will be provided
*Proficient in assessing liability and quantum, with strong negotiation skills?
*Familiar with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices?
*An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skills?
*Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively?
*IT literate, with experience using claims management systems and Microsoft Office
