Monday to Saturday
Working Hours: Flexible shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, with optional Monday shifts available.
Start times between 06:00 and 07:00 AM.
Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour - £18.82 per hour, based on experience and shift length.
Shift Length: You will be working between 8 to 12 hours a day, depending on your availability and whether you choose part-time or full-time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
*As a Driver’s Mate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth, efficient deliveries. Your tasks will include:
*Unloading goods upon arrival at the delivery location.
*Assisting with the safe storage or retrieval of stock.
*Directing the driver to the next delivery site to ensure an efficient route.
*Ensuring all deliveries are handled with the highest level of care and attention to detail.
What We’re Looking For:
*Experience: While previous experience as a Driver’s Mate is an advantage, it is not essential. We provide full training to ensure you’re fully equipped for the job.
*Physical Fitness: You will be required to lift and move heavy items, so a good level of physical fitness is important.
*Health & Safety Awareness: A good understanding of health and safety practices is essential to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
*Reliability & Teamwork: As you will be working closely with drivers and other team members, reliability and good communication skills are a must.
