Job Description:
SEN Tutor based in Orpington Bromely - Full time - ASAP start
Remedy Education are looking for a Secondary Tutor to work 1:1 with a student with SEN, you will be teaching the students core subjects.
The young student has ASD, challenging behaviour and needs special support throughout the day.
SEN experience needed: You will work privately or through the local authorities on a 1: 1 basis to make a difference to children with SEN including autism, ADHD, dyslexia and other additional needs.
To be a SEN Tutor Primary you will need:
*QTS;or at least 1 years experience teaching and assessing English and / or Maths and / or Science in primary and / or secondary schools;
*At least 2 years’ experience working with SEN special educational needs such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, ADD, PDA, dysgraphia, and global developmental delay;
*A proven record of being able to heighten pupil’s confidence, self-esteem and love of learning;
*100% passion for education, commitment, reliability and honesty;
*To creatively apply differentiated techniques to planning and teaching;
*Excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills;
*Incredible patience;
*An excellent knowledge of different learning styles and how to use these;
*The ability to deal with possible behaviour issues;
*A Enhanced DBS on the update service;
*A willingness to apply for public liability and professional indemnity insurance;
*Register to work as self-employed.
