The role of the Business Development Executive - Roofing & Cladding Products will involve:
*Business Development Executive position selling a range of various roofing, cladding and building products, such as: roofing sheets, cladding, roof lights, metal roof flashings, decking, guttering, composite decking, composite fencing, steel purlins, roof screws and fixings
*Predominantly selling into builders merchants and roofing merchants
*Dealing with customer enquiries offering technical advice and solutions
*Responsible for proactively generating new business
*Raising quotations, sales orders and purchase orders
*Working in tandem with the Regional Account Manager to fulfil merchant requirements
*Building and developing strong business relations encouraging repeat custom
*Providing an exceptional standard of customer service at all times
The ideal applicant will be Business Development Executive - Roofing & Cladding Products with:
*Must have B2B sales experience, proactive Account Management or Business Development experience would be advantageous
*Ideally will have a working knowledge of the construction industry
*Ideally will have experience selling roofing, cladding and building products, such as: roofing sheets, cladding, roof lights, metal roof flashings, decking, guttering, composite decking, composite fencing, steel purlins, roof screws and fixings, however not essential
*Strong interpersonal and relationship building qualities
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*Self-motivated, driven, hungry and ambitious
*IT literate (Microsoft Office)
