Assistant Production Accountant
£30,000 to £40,000 per annum
West End - office based
Our client, a professional services business based in the West End, is looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis. Clients of the company include large streaming, US UK and European studios and you will be working on a range of medium and big budget high end TV series and Film, looking after all their accounting needs.
The client is ideally looking for someone with a background working in finance for a media/film production company. SmartAccounting & PSL software experience is essential. You must have strong bookkeeping skills (including double entry bookkeeping) as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with internal and external contacts.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
• Entering Purchase Orders on the system
• Processing AP invoices
• Entering Journals
• Running payrolls
• Assisting with VAT return filings
• Payment runs
• Working dynamically across multiple projects, whilst tracking progress and providing quick, insightful status updates on request
