Job Description:
IT Security Engineer required by an established company located in Horsham. The IT Security Engineer will be responsible for:
*Protecting internal IT systems and maintaining the company’s security infrastructure
*Monitoring security systems
*Checking server & firewall logs
*Supporting security audits
*Identifying vulnerabilities and implementing dfixes
*Assisting with system backups & updates
*Data protection
*Providing IT security support
Key Experience:
*A technical background in IT support (2nd line)
*Commercial experience in role where IT security has been the main focus
*Firewalls
*Supporting users with IT security
Experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite:
*Working on security audits
*ISO 27001
