About the Role:
As Deputy Manager, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for our residents. You’ll support the Home Manager in leading the care team, maintaining compliance with CQC standards, and creating a culture that’s supportive, engaging, and positive.
Key responsibilities include:
*Leading and coaching the care team day-to-day
*Managing rotas and ensuring optimal staff deployment
*Supporting with resident admissions and care plans
*Overseeing medication procedures and audits
*Acting as Home Manager in their absence
*Building meaningful relationships with families, professionals, and our residents
What We’re Looking For:
*Leadership experience in a care setting
*Knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding practices
*A passion for delivering exceptional care to older people
*NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Dementia Pathway) or equivalent
*Flexible with availability to cover day and night shifts, including every other weekend off
