Job Description:
Role: SFA (Surgical First Assistant)
Location: London
Hours: Full-time
Salary: Up to £47,000
A brilliant private hospital based in London is looking for an experienced SFA to join their outstanding team.
As a Surgical First Assistant you will be a fully qualified practitioner with extensive experience in ENT operations.
Main duties:
*Preparing the patient for surgery.
*Confidently handle the tissue and manipulation of organs for access.
*Use retractors competently under the supervision of the surgeon.
*Be able to cut deep sutures and ligatures.
*Assist with wound closure where directed.
*Apply dressings where required.
Requirements:
*You must be an Operating Department Practitioner or Registered Nurse with full NMC/HCPC registration.
*A Post-graduate qualification as a Surgical First Assistant.
*At least 6-months of UK experience as a Scrub/SFA.
*Extensive specialist experience in ENT surgeries.
