Position Title: Senior Analyst - Cash Liquidity Management
Department: Cash Analysis & Monitoring
Overview
A leading financial institution is seeking a skilled Senior Analyst to join its Cash Analysis & Monitoring team. This role is focused on managing intraday liquidity and nostro bank positions across the EMEA region. The successful candidate will work closely with the Treasury desk to ensure accurate cash positioning, timely funding, and exposure mitigation.
This position also supports Eurozone and Euroclear funding operations and plays a key role in sub-custodian and client transitions. It offers exposure to high-value processes at the core of global financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and manage nostro and agent bank positions
* Execute funding requirements in Eurozone and Euroclear markets
* Investigate and resolve cash discrepancies
* Reconcile interest charges and complete P&L-related journal entries
* Support client transitions and sub-custodian onboarding
* Prepare reporting for internal stakeholders and identify process improvements
Required Skills & Experience
* Solid understanding of global custody or securities cash processing
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Advanced Excel skills
Preferred Experience
* Previous experience in cash or liquidity management
* Familiarity with correspondent banking and interest reconciliation
* Involvement in client or sub-custodian transitions
