Job Description:
The Financial Intelligence Unit at Macquarie is dedicated to conducting enhanced due diligence and investigations related to financial crime. Our team manages screening escalations such as sanctions, adverse news, and Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) alerts. We support Macquarie’s assessment of Financial Crime Risk by delivering risk-focused enhanced due diligence, conducting risk assessments, and preparing comprehensive reports.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our advertised location.

What role will you play?

As a Financial Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting financial crime enhanced due diligence and investigations. You will manage screening escalations, including sanctions, adverse news, and PEP alerts. Your role will involve supporting senior team members in monitoring reviews to test financial crime systems and controls. Additionally, you will help identify and report breaches, enhance policies and systems, and provide input on ongoing process improvements.
