Key Responsibilities: * Lead and oversee structural engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with all engineering standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop practical design solutions.
* Perform structural analysis and design calculations using relevant software tools.
* Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and project documentation.
* Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices.
* Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise.
* Oversee project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within scope.
* Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
* Chartered status (CEng) with a relevant professional institution is preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably within the construction industry.
* Proficient in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, TEKLA, or similar programs.
* Strong understanding of building codes, design standards, and construction methods.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
