Join Our Team as a Practice Development Officer
We are seeking an experienced and registered Children’s Social Worker to join our Workforce Development Team in a pivotal role. As a Practice Development Officer, you will play an essential part in supporting and mentoring our learners, delivering high-quality training, and promoting good practice throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop and deliver bespoke training programmes for: *Newly Qualified Social Workers
*ASYE programme participants
*Social Work Apprenticeships
*Step-Up to Social Work candidates

*Design and lead comprehensive training sessions, leveraging your expertise in: *Children’s legislation
*Case management
*Policies, frameworks, and procedures

*Supervise and mentor members of the social care workforce
*Support and collaborate with Practice Educators
*Promote and advocate for best practice across the organisation
*Contribute to quality assurance by participating in audits and improvement strategies
*Work collaboratively to implement continuous professional development strategies for our social care workforce
Requirements
*Registered Children’s Social Worker (Social Work England)
*Experience in a Practice Development Officer role or similar
*Demonstrated ability to design and deliver high-quality training
*Strong communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills
*Ability to work both independently and within a team
*In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and frameworks
