The Role
This position will report into the Commercial Finance Manager, and it’s a perfectly balanced role between management & financial accounting. The key components will include:
Management Accounting
*Business partnering with senior stakeholders
*Production and presentation of monthly reporting packs to influence decision making
*Preparation of monthly management accounts & ensuring robust month-end close
*Financial and performance analysis - KPI’s, variances, revenue etc.
*Budget and forecasting
*Ensuring robust month-end close
Financial Accounting
*Supporting with statutory accounts & returns
*Feeding into year-end close and annual audit
*Balance sheet reconciliations & integrity
*Liaising with transactional finance - AP, AR, Treasury, Banking

The role is based in Edinburgh with exceptional hybrid working (only 1 compulsory day in the office per week). The position will also offer:
