Hays are looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join an exciting financial services business based out of Manchester City Centre. This is a 12-month fixed-term role covering maternity leave with the possibility to be made permanent after completion.

You will be responsible for supporting the Management Accountant and;
*Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts; accruals, pre-payments and journals.
*Bank/ statement reconciliations
*Provide support to the finance team
*Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
*Analyse financial data and provide insights
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations
You will have:
*2+ years of experience in management accounting
*AAT Technician level qualification (NVQ4) or equivalent
*Started ACCA or CIMA
*Strong analytical skills
*Excellent communication skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
