I am exclusively recruiting a Finance Manager for a growing UK business. This newly created role offers a great mix of team leadership, hands-on operational finance, and real scope to drive process improvements. You’ll be working closely with a supportive, tenured motivated Financial Controller who supports career development.
About the Job:
*Leading a small, friendly, tenured transactional finance team
*Supporting the team with coaching and complex queries
*Reviewing and improving AP/AR processes
*Approving invoices, expenses, and card claims
*Month-end duties: accruals, prepayments, journals
*Balance sheet reconciliations and reporting support
*Supporting budgeting and ad hoc projects
*Liaising with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and auditors
Benefits:
*£40,000 to £45,000 DOE
*25 days holiday + bank holidays

*On-site parking
*35-hour week (Mon-Fri, 9-5)
*Hybrid working (1-2 days from home after probation)

About You:
*Experience leading or supervising a finance team
*Strong AP, AR, and general ledger knowledge
*Collaborative, hands-on approach with a people-first mindset
*SME experience is a plus
