Role responsibilities
*Managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs and individuals across a range of industries
*Overseeing the preparation and review of year-end accounts, tax returns and VAT submissions
*Providing strategic advice on business performance, growth and planning
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular contact and proactive support
*Ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met across your portfolio
*Supervising and mentoring junior team members, reviewing their work and supporting their development
*Working closely with the wider team to ensure joined-up service delivery

Candidate requirements
*ACA or ACCA qualified with 5+ years’ experience managing a client portfolio within practice
*Strong technical knowledge in accounts, tax and compliance for owner-managed businesses
*Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
*A commercial mindset and the ability to spot opportunities for clients
*Experience managing and developing junior team members
*Organised, proactive and comfortable working both independently and within a team
