Reed Engineering are seeking a Cable Assembly Technician to join a company who are looking to expand their team. The company supply a range of cable assemblies to meet the demands of the growing underwater technology industry, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in soldering and the ability to test and design electronic components. 
Location: Aberdeen 
Day to day roles include: 
*Work closely with the production team to support the assembly and wiring of production jobs 
*Adhere to quality standards by following set procedures 
*Inspect work and report any production errors
*Perform soldering tasks and work towards achieving IPC-620 standard (training will be provided)
*Utilise test equipment and fixtures as required, maintaining high-quality standards 
*Take full responsibility for personal health and safety 
Required: 
*Experience of soldering and electronics 
*Experience in a manufacturing environment 
*Understanding of technical drawings 
*Good attention to detail
