Job Description:
We are seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer to join our client’s team in Waterbeach. This role is a full time, permanent position working 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
Main Duties:
*Execute electro-mechanical product testing and generate test reports.
*Design and assemble PLC-controlled pneumatic test fixtures.
*Manage test samples, equipment maintenance, and consumables.
*Perform minor modifications using workshop tools.
*Assemble components for mechanical verification testing.
*Coordinate external testing and prepare necessary fixtures.
The Successful Candidate:
*Understands mechanical/electrical/electronic drawings and principles.
*Proficient with measuring instruments and basic pneumatics.
*Experienced in electro-mechanical testing and basic workshop skills.
*Basic PLC programming and Microsoft Office proficiency.
*Holds a relevant Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship/Diploma.
*Detail-oriented and a proactive team player.
